An Introduction to Manage My Website’s New Go To Girl

Kirsteen Mahmoud

Hi, I’m Kirsteen and I’ve recently joined the Manage My Website team. I'll be working alongside Allie assisting our customers with their online business development and social media management, as well as helping out with admin and accounts.

I’ve spent the past 15 years working in sales and marketing for a number of travel companies, and now I’m very excited about my new role.

After much consideration Allie decided my job title at Manage My Website should be ‘Go to Girl’. A 'Go to Girl’ is your BFF (Best Friend Forever). She's someone who'll help you get things done, a person you can rely on when you're in need of extra assistance, somebody who acts as a 'jack of all trades' and is capable of doing almost anything. A person you can count on when you're overwhelmed with your workload and responsibilities.

Hopefully I won't only be Allie’s Go to Girl, but the Go to Girl for our clients too with regards to their online marketing and website maintenance.

I have a passion for travelling, having visited over 40 countries, and all 7 continents. I love iPhonegraphy and editing the photos via various apps (I’m a self-confessed Instagram addict). I’ve won several online photography competitions including the image below for a Facebook competition for a travel company called Insider Journeys. This shot was taken in Cambodia.

And this image (taken in Egypt) was selected as the winning photo out of almost 10,000 entries for a competition by a charity called One Young World. My entry was exhibited at their summit in South Africa in 2013 and seen by influential people such as Kofi Annan and Richard Branson.

As I have such a passion for travel and photography Allie has asked me to help with one of Manage My Website’s social media management accounts for a dirtbike and jeep adventure travel company. Believe me, I can’t wait to get fully involved with this social media account and I look forward to travelling vicariously in a jeep through Bolivia.

I also love writing blogs, and my articles have featured on several travel websites.

I have an Egyptian husband called Ahmed, and I write about my life as a British woman married to an Egyptian man. Please check out my own blog.
