There are some days in history you remember forever.

Monday, 4 October, 2021 is now one of those dates. The day Facebook went down. Well, hang on, not just Facebook, Instagram too. Oh yeah, and that little messaging platform – WhatsApp. This affected billions of people across the world and gave us all a little light relief from banging on social media about the petrol crisis.

And this also meant another social media channel, Twitter had a field day – along with big brands who joined in on the fun!

Yesterday showed just how much we rely on social media. We’re glad to see Facebook, Insta and WhatsApp back online, like the billions across the planet. We wonder what their morning management team meeting was like though!
