What To Do If Your Squarespace Website Goes Down

If your website goes down for no apparent reason and starts to perform in a strange way (e.g. you can't log in anymore or you can't edit your site easily), these are the steps you should take:

1. Subscribe to Squarespace Status alerts now. You'll then receive emails as soon as Squarespace have any urgent technical problems that they're currently looking into.

2. If your website is totally down, make sure that you're all up-to-date with your Squarespace hosting payments, and that you've renewed your custom domain name (URL). Have you received any emails lately from Squarespace or your domain provider that you might have not read properly?

3. If there are no Squarespace reported issues and your hosting/domains are fully paid up, contact the person who built your site right away or we can look into it for you. Note that weekends might be a little more tricky but we'll do our very best to be as speedy as possible.
